For example, if you sign up on March 8, the first billing cycle ends April 7, and the second billing cycle begins on April 8. If you sign up on the 29th, 30th or 31st, the beginning of your second and future billing cycles will be on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively. When your billing cycle ends, Stamps.com will calculate your monthly service fee based on your service plan, and charge your credit card accordingly. Please refer to the Stamps.com Service Agreement for complete details.

What if I don’t get to the Post Office on time to mail my package?
If you are using NetStamps, this
will not be a problem, because they do not carry a date. You may always
make a Date Correction if you are using the Mailing option.
Simply click the Options button at the bottom of the Mailing Page
tab, and then check the Date Correction box. Set the date on which you
intend to mail days and click OK. You may set the date up to 31 days in
advance. You will then see the graphic preview change to show you that a
new label will be printed with new information that tells the USPS that
the date has been changed. Apply this new label next to the existing
postage label on your mailpiece. Or, in the case of envelopes, you will
see that the graphic preview indicates to you that the envelope should
be flipped over onto the back, and must be run through the printer
again, upside down, to print the date correction on the back. Please be
sure to only run empty envelopes through your printer so as to prevent
printer jams. If your item already has its contents within it, you may
print a label out with the date correction information.
Prior to printing your Shipping Labels, you may follow certain steps.
For example, you may set the date to which you intend to mail by
clicking on “Mailing Date,” which can be found next to the gray “Special
Services” button.
For Shipping Labels mailed by First-Class Mail, Priority Mail, Media
Mail, and Bound Printed Matter, you may set the date up to 7 days in
advance. Please note that when a date in the Mailing Date window becomes
yellow, this indicates that the day in question is not a Postal
Collection day, such as a Sunday or a holiday.
For Shipping Labels mailed by Express Mail, you may set the date up to 2
days in advance. Please note that you will also be able to specify
‘Delivery Options’ for Express Mail, such as “Do Not Deliver on
Weekends” or “Waive Delivery Signature.” By checking one or more of the
Delivery Options boxes, your Shipping Label will display these added
shipping requests for the Post Office just above the Delivery Address.
If you would not like to perform a Date Correction but are interested in
receiving a refund for your unused postage, click here.
How does Stamps.com compare to a postage meter?
MORE POWERFUL REASONS THAT STAMPS.COM IS BETTER THAN A POSTAGE METER
Use your own reference codes to track spending
The Stamps.com Reference Code feature allows you to track your postage costs for accounting purposes, or to bill your customers for postage. Look for the reference field at the bottom of the Print Postage page, set up your Reference Codes using the Reference Code button, then select the corresponding code each time you print. It’s that simple.
Stamps.com will e-mail you a Reference Code Usage Summary Report at the end of each billing cycle. In the Account Activity log, you can sort by Reference Code by clicking on the "Reference" header in the report window and you can export this file as a text or CSV file (by clicking on the "export" button) and then store or manipulate the data.

Reduce costly returned mail with our address verification system
To help expedite the sorting and routing of your mail, each address printed using Stamps.com will go through "address cleansing." Address cleansing is the process of standardizing an address according to the preferred USPS addressing standards. For example, if you write "Suite 100" in an address, the Stamps.com address cleansing process will abbreviate "Suite" to "STE", the preferred USPS format. During address cleansing, Stamps.com will also add the proper ZIP + 4 code to your address. Accurate, complete addresses help to ensure the timely delivery of your mail.
Advanced label customization
Add a note to your shipping label for your customer’s reference. This could include things such as order, invoice or receipt number. With Stamps.com you can also print out a receipt for your own records, but if you don’t you can always refer to your Account Activity log where every transaction is recorded.
