Express Mail Prices and Discounts

New Zone-Based Pricing

The USPS has implemented zone-based pricing for Express Mail, similar to the zone-based pricing it has used for Priority Mail. Zones are based on distance from your location, and are automatically determined by the Stamps.com software. The Stamps.com software includes all of the new January 2010 USPS pricing for Priority Mail and Express Mail. And, unlike postal meters and other postage vendors, Stamps.com does not charge any fees to update rates. This is especially valuable since rates usually change once a year.

With zone-based pricing, Express Mail shipments to your local area and Zones 1 and 3 (up to approximately 300 miles) are actually less expensive than they were under the old pricing plan.

Stamps.com Discounts on Express Mail

Stamps.com users enjoy a 5% discount from retail rates on all Express Mail shipments.

Please note: The discounts are applied only if you use the packages section of the Stamps.com software to print shipping labels with tracking barcodes; no discount is applied if you use the stamps or envelopes sections or print shipping labels without tracking barcodes.
