With Stamps.com, in addition to regular shipping discounts, we offer Commercial Plus pricing for high volume shippers. Your USPS activity must meet these minimum annual volume requirements: 1,500 pieces per quarter for domestic Express Mail and 100,000 pieces per year for domestic Priority Mail. You will receive discounts of 14.5% for Express Mail and up to 14% for Priority Mail. These discounts are for domestic shipments. Additional volume or negotiated discounts may be available for international Priority Mail and Express Mail shipments as well.

How can I use Professional Shipper to retrieve the orders in my Database?

Professional Shipper can be configured via ODBC (Object Database Connectivity) to retrieve orders from a variety of order data sources. ODBC is a Microsoft standard for configuring database connections that can be used by any software including Stamps.com Professional Shipper. What types of databases and sources can I map into Professional Shipper?

Professional Shipper supports a wide variety of data sources including, MS–Access, Excel, CSV (Comma Separated Values) files and other standard databases such as SQL Server or Oracle. Simple data sources such as MS–Access, Excel or CSV files can be configured from within Professional Shipper. Advanced databases such as Oracle or SQL Server can be configured from within the Control Panel on Windows. Does Professional Shipper process international shipments?

Yes, Professional Shipper can be used to process both domestic and international shipments.

Does Professional Shipper support high speed thermal printers?

Yes, Professional Shipper supports high speed Zebra–Eltron thermal printers apart from a variety of other commonly available InkJet and LaserJet printers. Does Professional Shipper have limits on postage balance?

Professional Shipper by default allows you to purchase and maintain a maximum of $500 in postage balance. However, if you need to process a high volume of shipments you can contact customer support to increase your postage balance limit.

How do I customize shipping labels with Professional Shipper?

Professional Shipper allows you to customize your label by adding a message, a professional image of your company’s logo or other graphic to your shipping labels. You can also customize the font and style of the text on the shipping label. Professional Shipper’s advanced features allow you to create multiple profiles to multiple databases and files each of which can have a different graphic image.

Can I set default values within Professional Shipper?

When creating a new profile for a new data source you can specify default values for fields such as return address and whether you want to hide postage or not.
